DESCRIPTION:

Future Piranhas are swimmers age 6 & under who are not quite ready for full swim team participation. 

These are the 6 & under swimmers who can swim 10-15 yards unassisted but who are not ready to swim the full length of the pool or compete in a swim meet. 

Piranhas assistant coaches will help these swimmers learn the proper stroke technique while gaining excitement for the Piranhas’ swim team program. 

*Please note that Future Piranhas sessions are not for beginning swimmers*

SESSIONS & COST: 

Future Piranhas sessions will be offered as outlined below:

A skills assessment session will be held on Wednesday, May 27 from 9:00-10:00 a.m.at the pool. All Future Piranhas participants are required to attend. Swim sessions: June 1-4, June 8-11, June 15-18. 

Each child will be assigned a ½ hour session at 8:30 a.m. or 9:00 a.m., and groups will be assigned based on ability level as determined during the skills assessment session. 

Each assistant coach will instruct a maximum of 4 children. 

Future Piranhas swim meet/awards celebration: Friday, June 19 @ 9 a.m.

Rain date: Tuesday, June 23 @ 6:00 p.m. 

The cost for Future Piranhas is $175 per swimmer. 

Visiting swimmers pay an additional $55 per swimmer. 

Future Piranhas do not need to purchase a team suit. 

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: 

Register by clicking the blue “Register now” button at the top right of the page when registration opens March 1. 

Submit a copy of your child’s birth certificate if your child did not participate in 2025. Drop off in mailbox at 4152 Ailey Ct or email a SCANNED copy to Allison Redd ([email protected]).
