Swim-a-thon
Monday, June 22, 2026
This fun event is our largest fundraiser of the season. Swimmers set a personal goal of how many laps they can swim during the event, and parents, grandparents, neighbors, and friends make either a flat donation or a donation based on the number of laps swum. At the end of the event, swimmers are awarded with an ice pop and bragging rights. The children have a blast and are always very proud of the number of laps they can swim.
The Swim-a-thon schedule will be as follows:
Morning:
Ages 6 & under 8:30 - 9:00 AM
Ages 7 & 8 9:00 - 10:00 AM
Ages 9 & 10 10:00 - 11:00 AM
Ages 11 & older 11:00 - 12:00 noon
Afternoon:
Ages 8 & under 5:00 - 5:45 PM
Ages 9 & older 5:45 - 6:45 PM
In order to make our fundraiser a success, we ask that every family make a donation (suggested minimum is $50 per family), even if your child cannot participate the day of the Swim-a-thon. Donations can be made three ways:
- Venmo @PeachtreeStationSwimTennis – include swimmer's last name.
- Cash or check (made payable to PSST and placed in the Swim-a-thon fish file).
Pledge Form - Please click here for the pledge form and place in the Swim-a-Thon fish file with payment or after electronic payment by July 6.
Doesn't the registration fee cover these costs? Why is the team asking for donations? Registration fees cover coaches' pay, tee shirts, swim caps, SwimTopia fee, ribbons, Fun Friday prizes and donuts, and the end-of-season trophies.
The small profit made from concessions and spirit wear pays for some of these expenses, too. When we have major expenses like new swimming equipment, we use funds collected from our sponsors, spirit days/nights, and Swim-a-thon to pay for those items. Thank you for supporting your team!
